"X" marks the Safeey!

To comply with the updated LeMONS rules, and in the interest of safety we kicked the single door bar to the curb this weekend. With the help of Mark from Mark's Fab Shop we've now got a grade-A kick ass X-bar setup to keep us safe. Now, we just need a removable steering wheel to make ingress & egress of the car a little easier, it's QUITE the tight fit these days.

After hours (and hours and hours) of hard work...it's all paid off and here's the final version of the paint scheme for Hanta1

Two weekends of signings

and our car is starting to look like it has pink polka dots. We collected $110 in donations our first weekend (2 day AutoX) and another $90 this weekend (Clean Car Contest) for a total of $200. We're looking good to hit our target goal!

That's right...this weekend (May 16/17th) at the San Diego BMW Autocross we're collecting signatures for project "Charity Case". We'll be there from (roughly) 7:30 to 5 both days so if you're looking to scribble on a car, here's your chance! Pictures will be posted later.

Say Hello to "Hanta's Revenge" upon cleanout of this car (which hadn't run in 7 years) we found (interestingly) 7 dead mice, and more mouse crap than I care to think about. This is the car we'll be running in the San Diego Grand Challenge

24 hrs of LeMons Car
